What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to work, to remember your choices, or to understand how it is used.

Types of cookies my site uses

Essential cookies. My site is hosted by Wix, which uses technical cookies to ensure the site works properly and securely. My cookie banner also remembers your consent choice. These cookies cannot be turned off, because the site would not work properly without them.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics). I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors browse my site and to improve the user experience. These cookies collect anonymous data: pages visited, length of visits, approximate location, device type, and traffic source. This data does not allow me to identify you personally. These cookies are only activated with your consent.

Contact form cookies (HubSpot). I use HubSpot to run my contact form and call booking page. HubSpot may place a cookie on your device to link your request to your browser and to make the form work properly. I do not use HubSpot to track your browsing on my site or for advertising purposes. This cookie is only activated with your consent. Without it, the form and the booking may not display or work. You can then write to me directly at info@melissalavigne.ca.

I do not use advertising cookies.

How to manage cookies

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom left of every page of the site. You can also delete or block cookies by adjusting your browser settings, or refuse Google Analytics with the opt-out extension available on Google's website.

How long cookies are kept

Cookie duration varies by provider. To learn more, please consult the privacy policies of Wix, Google, and HubSpot.

Changes to this policy

I reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. I encourage you to review it periodically.
